aois21 promotes Corey Parker to Chief of Publishing

Former editor will now oversee publishing works in new operating structure

MOUNT VERNON, VA – The newly christened aois21 media, LLC has promoted Editor-in-Chief Corey Parker to the new position of Chief of Publishing. In this position, Corey will manage book projects and the aois21 annual from inception to final publication and oversee the performance of the aois21 stable of editors.

Corey has been aois21’s Editor-in-Chief for the past three years, previously serving as a consultant during pre-launch operations. Since then, he has guided the editorial staff to complete three annual magazines, nine new titles, and a number of special projects, with more to come.

“I am thrilled to be taking a more active role in strengthening the quality and diversity of our published titles, providing encouragement and support to our talented editors, and taking aois21 to new heights,” Corey said.

Corey completed a Masters of Professional Studies in Publishing in 2011 at George Washington University and currently works as a copy editor for the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy. He’s previously edited for Shama Books in Ethiopia and The Germanic Review at Heldref Publications in DC.  His skills and impressive attention to detail will help make every aois21 publication a success.

“As we shift our focus beyond the book, there is no one I trust more with overseeing the written operations of aois21,” said Keith F. Shovlin, aois21’s publisher. “I know he will succeed with this new responsibility, and I know he can tackle any challenge.”
