Fourth edition to be released in October
Here's your first glimpse of the upcoming aois21 annual, a collection of poetry, short stories, essays and more, coming out electronically next month. For the past four years we have opened our doors to submissions from around the web and we have yet to be disappointed by the quality submissions we have received.
The cover features an original artistic piece by Rana Gainer, entitled "Space Maid." Gainer is one of aois21's design consultants and recently designed the cover art for the upcoming fantasy epic, The Will of the Magi. Find more of Gainer's work at www.ranagainer.com.
In addition to new work by our Creatives and staff, we will also feature some returning contributors and several new contributors this year. We are in the process of booking a location for the release party, which will feature live readings from contributors. Check back for more details.
For now we are deep in editing and layout of the annual, an electronic literary magazine that allows us to add audio and video to our standard literary contributions. The magazine was originally funded through a Kickstarter campaign and is the tentpole of our Fall release schedule.
We already announced new pieces by aois21 Creatives James D. King, Michael B Judkins, and Keith F. Shovlin. We will also be including excerpts from aois21 titles such as the recently released American Presidents at War by Thomas P. Athridge.
