October touring schedule fills up with fairs and events
We are happy to announce that aois21 has been invited back to exhibit at the Fall for the Book festival at George Mason University this October. The book fair will take place on Saturday, October 13th outside Merten Hall on the north side of the Fairfax, Va, campus. We are thrilled to be a part of this major literary event for our area and especially to return to GMU again!
This year the festival is celebrating 20 years and will once again expand across Northern Virginia to find readers far and wide and encourage them to #ReadOn! For more information about the over 150 authors and other panel discussions, visitfallforthebook.org.
This will mark our second appearance at GMU this year as we were at the Johnson Center just two weeks ago for Va Comicon. We're not only returning for Fall for the Book, but we'll also go back in January 2019 when Va Comicon returns again for a one-day convention. We'll be joined by aois21 design consultant Rana Gainer, who has been exhibiting our artwork at various events around the area, including with us at Kensington Day of the Book and the Gaithersburg Book Festival.
The Fall for the Book will be one of three book festivals we will be part of this October. We start off the month returning to Frostburg, MD, after a one year absence from the Western Maryland Indie Lit Festival at Frostburg State University. Then on the last weekend of the month, we'll be in Charlottesville for the recently rechristenedBlue Ridge Writers Festival (formerly Charlottesville Book Festival).
