Independent publisher is turning the page on books
MOUNT VERNON, VA – aois21 publishing, LLC has changed its name to aois21 media, LLC, recognizing a shift toward being more than an independent publisher, and is now an independent media company.
With the rapid growth of our podcast offerings and the need to grow our business model into new markets, the decision was made to move beyond books and help find more stories worth sharing. To that end, aois21 has stepped up its podcast offerings this past year and recently hired Zach C. Cohen as Chief of Audio Production. Additional growth is planned for the aois21 YouTube channel, allowing a three-pronged approach to storytelling: print, audio, and video.
The change in name will also mean changes to the tagline and structure of aois21. Our Creatives will not be limited to authors, and the company has added the new position of Chief of Video Production to find someone to grow the YouTube channel with storytelling series on a variety of subjects.
"I started this company to be a different kind of publisher,” said Keith F. Shovlin, aois21’s publisher. "What you have to realize is that we were always a media company. Now that our podcast series have expanded as far as they have, we are merely accepting the reality of what aois21 is and purports to be."
